We usually arrive within an hour of your call across East London. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year including Christmas and bank holidays.

How much does an emergency call-out cost?

Accepted Answer

Call-outs start from £95 + VAT, covering attendance and the first hour. A standard call-out is £95 + VAT including attendance and the first hour, then £55 + VAT per additional 30 minutes. Priority/emergency call-outs are £135 + VAT for the first hour, then £65 + VAT per additional 30 minutes. Where location or travel means the standard call-out price cannot apply, the price is agreed with you before attendance. Any additional time or repair work is agreed with you before we start, and our guide prices are listed on the pricing page.

What should I do while waiting for the electrician?

Accepted Answer

If there is any risk of electric shock or fire, evacuate and call 999. Otherwise, switch off the main isolator at your consumer unit if safe to do so. Do not repeatedly reset tripped breakers as this can cause further damage.

What should I do if my RCD keeps tripping?

Accepted Answer

Switch off and unplug the appliances on the affected circuit, then reset the RCD. If it holds, plug things back in one at a time to find the culprit. If it trips with nothing connected, or trips again straight away, stop resetting it and call us — repeated tripping usually means a wiring fault, water ingress or a failing appliance that needs proper testing to find.

Yes. We attend commercial electrical emergencies 24/7 across East London — offices, shops, restaurants, managed apartment blocks and industrial units — including loss of supply, tripping distribution boards, emergency lighting failures and fire alarm faults. We work with managing agents, concierge and facilities teams for access, and priority/emergency call-outs are £135 + VAT for the first hour, then £65 + VAT per additional 30 minutes (standard call-outs from £95 + VAT).
